A quick and enjoyable read, In Such Good Company: Eleven Years of Laughter, Mayhem, and Fun in the Sandbox is a treasure trove of anecdotes, stories, and reminiscences from one of the 20th century’s Queens of Comedy, Carol Burnett.

The book delves into the world of The Carol Burnett Show, which ran for 11 seasons on CBS, and Burnett delivers plenty of insightful material about the show, its ensemble, the guest stars, behind-the-scenes moments, and notable sketches and musical numbers.

As a fan of classic TV and TV history, this book was extremely fun to read.  It’s also great that you can find most of the referenced sketches and musical numbers on YouTube.

I highly recommend this book.
