While not what I was expecting – from the cover, I thought it would be an homage to pulp fiction detective stories, but I guess that’s why you never judge a book by its cover – Blood Sugar does have its charms.
Its unique style and cast of damaged yet colorful characters make it an intriguing read that was definitely unlike other novels I have read.
But once I got into it, I couldn’t stop reading.
If you’re looking for something different to read, I recommend Blood Sugar.
