What a great book! I was intrigued by the cover, enticed by the premise, and was excited to hear it was based on actual events. Amy Harmon delivered a powerful, engaging, and suspenseful historical romance that kept me reading and guessing until the end.
During the Revolutionary War, a young and headstrong woman refuses to sit on the sidelines and figures out a way to join the ranks and fight among the men: Disguise herself as a young man and enlist in the Army.
Will her secret remain hidden, or will the truth about her identity destroy her future and reputation?
It’s an incredible story, made even more so by its roots in historical fact!
This was my first Amy Harmon book, and it won’t be the least. I highly recommend A Girl Called Samson!
